Gabriel spent the night with his dad and Amelia, then Geraldine and Manuela came to relieve us.
Night and day were fairly stable.
He continues to receive intensive physiotherapy.
Since yesterday, he’s been coughing and sneezing.
As a precaution, fearing a virus, they tested for Covid, influenza and bronchiolitis: all negative! phew!
2 theories are being considered: an allergy, or the fact that, since the removal of his catheter this week, he no longer benefits from anti-reflux treatment. Having been intubated for so long, he would theoretically need this treatment. They therefore administer an anti-allergy and anti-reflux medication via the gastric tube.
Apart from that, everything seems stable and positive.
Gabriel is as handsome as ever! And a little chubbier too!
