The Breath Passes
The Breath Passes is a support project that aims to raise public awareness of obliterative bronchiolitis, a rare and serious lung disease that makes breathing difficult for children. The project takes the form of a sporting challenge: Robert, 67 years old and grandfather of Gabriel, who suffers from this disease, plans to cycle across the Alps in 2026, alone and unsupported, on a route of approximately 911 km with over 20,000 m of elevation gain between Belleville-en-Beaujolais and Nice.
The goal of this adventure is to raise awareness of this rare disease, support affected families, and raise funds for the Hope For Gabriel association, which helps affected children and encourages research and solidarity around these respiratory conditions.
