Last night, Gabriel spent the night with Paula. All went well.
Today, he stayed with Geraldine and Manuela. His situation seems to be a little less favourable, with a more pronounced pull on his ribs.
As far as sedatives are concerned, the methadone seems to have run its course. He still has others left…
We still don’t know if or when the pulmonologist will come to see him.
For my part, I spent the day at the apartment. The first major cleaning was done, and it changed the atmosphere. I learned that the previous tenant had been evicted for not taking good care of the place, which explains the state we found it in. Today, the apartment is already much cleaner; several repairs have been carried out and more are planned for tomorrow and the day after. In theory, by the end of the week, it should be ready to welcome us.
Finally, Manuela is also talking to a physiotherapist and a pneumologist in São Paulo. We’ll have an online meeting tomorrow to discuss possible treatment, compare it with what the hospital offers here, and, if necessary, ask for better care.
